Found these at my local Lowes for $4.97 while looking for the $5.47 deal for the Bosch Impact Tough Set Alloy Steel set Screwdriver Bit Set (40-Piece). Not showing as Impact rated and doesn't include the flex shaft bits but it's mostly similar sized bits

I bought several different sets of bosch bit sets and drill bits for 75% off recently at Lowe's . This a great set for light duty work or to use with a multi-set screwdriver.

Same. Found an impact bit set and drill bits super cheap. Wonder if they're closing them out or just getting new stuff.

Damn. Closest one is 16 miles away. With gas prices these days I'm better off buying at full price (not to mention the traffic).

Also how is it that these never come with hex bits? I use them all the time for stuff around the house and I've yet to see a single use for the square bits

Basic non-impact screwdriver bits like this one are all the same. The brand means nothing; Bosch didn't design these. They just placed an order with an overseas producer and specified how the package and branding should look. Plus, the vast majority of these are the tiny kind that doesn't lock into a quick-change hex chuck; just filler to pad the total piece count of the set.

Point being, it's not a very slick deal

I bought this the other day. One thing to note is the small bits don't stay or fit in the chuck of my impact driver. I had to use the adapter thing on the side. Which is fine. As others have stated, I got 3 different Bosch bit sets and a set of Bosch jigsaw blades on clearance last week at Lowe's.
