I've been looking to purchase a new smartwatch and was about to bite the bullet over the weekend. Luckily I didn't go and while looking around on Verizon's app last night I found a Promo code for $150 off a smartwatch. I can confirm it worked as I placed the order last night.
Promo code SMARTWATCH150
Also if you have any device dollars on your account you can use them with this offer. Verizon's device dollar program is discontinuing and your last day you use these device dollars is 6/30/22
Cool story bro, but you might want to add more information, like WHAT watch it worked on and where you got the coupon. Was it Verizon, or Verizon UP? I don't see a coupon in Verizon UP so this may be a YMMV. Without that information this post is practically useless.
You'd see it under My Offers, it's a YMMV deal. Here's the details. Basically it's gonna be a $150 discount spread over 36 months. Which is a great deal if you want a smart watch line.

Device payment purchase req'd. Less $150 promo credit applied to account over applicable term of payment w/in 1-2 bill cycles; promo credit ends if eligibility requirements are no longer met; 0% APR. Cannot be combined with other offer equipment discounts. While supplies last.
Hmmmm.... actually this might be tempting...
So Verizon will give me $150 + $180 to trade in my series 3 + device dollars, = Apple Watch for $0.83/month + $5 line fee... So basically around that $209 price.
$150 discount at once is not $150 discount spread over 3 years :-)

Def not a bad way to use up these Device Dollars.
Where are you seeing a $5 line fee? I am seeing $10 a month if I use the same number as my phone.
I have the 5G Do More plan which means 50% off watches/connected devices. I.e. $10 > $5
This might be good for some people. I have the Play More plan which gives free Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. If you weigh it out, it would cost more to subscribe to these services than the $5 monthly savings from the 50% off. YMMV though. Both plans are the same price so if you don't need the streaming services then I'd definitely switch.

Bankable Travelpass's is clutch on the Do More. I'm a multiline plan now, so i have 1 user on play more who never travels outside of the country, and I'm on do more, who will easily use up those 12 travelpasses a year.
