Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

I leave my house sometimes. I commute and can watch tv easier on a tablet than my phone. Having a reasonably priced tablet plan is easier than having to tether all the time (plus data is limited when tethering). Data is also way faster than public wifi like at airports and such.

You're right that data on a tablet isn't essential but at the right price it's a nice convenience.

A few years ago I got my mom a great Asus tablet, aside from Pixel or Samsung tablets it was like the last batch of really good tablets. When I saw this deal I immediately reached out and asked if she needed a tablet with cell data for work, as it could be useful. Although I really just wanted to give her the "Free" tablet and take her awesome one.

They don't pull personal credit

Also I am still able to obtain additional phone lines on my business account for about 10 plus about 3 in taxes.

Yeah, if you already have a tablet that will accept a T-Mobile SIM then it's just a $10/m unlimited line. The free tablet is just icing on the cake.

I haven't seen the discussion about tax inclusive plans not getting the tablet deal but I'd ask T-Force on Twitter or just stop by a store and find out for sure.
