The multiple ways of using this $10 line for home internet are:
1. T-Mobile Gateway + Cudy N300 or X6 which are wifi only routers to mask hotspot usage with TTL set on the external wifi router. You can use other wifi routers for this purpose but there's a menu page in the Cudy routers which makes setting TTL easy - Courtesy waterchange
1.1 Cudy router like Cudy LT500 or LT18 or the 5G P8 work as a single device with modem + wifi router. Work well for home internet. Nice thing about the Cudy modems is easy TTL (and imei magic if necessary). - Courtesy waterchange
2. M2100 hotspot device - Hit or a miss - native out of the box but less reliable
3. Orbic 5G hotspot device - more reliable than the m2100, however some people have reported throttling after 1st couple of months
4. Gateway + Project Genesis - works most reliably
5. TMOHS1 - ~ 30-50 mbps out of the box, no TTL update required
6. Tmobile Franklin - ~30-50 mbps with TTL update - the most reliable as of right now, however limited speed.
7. M2000 won't pull data from anywhere.
8. GL.iNET Spitz GL-X3000NR easier to use than Cudy and better performance but expensive. Great form factor and performance. Presets for T-Mobile TTL settings and advanced cell features like tower/band lock. External antennas.
9. M3000B works out of the box with T-Mobile version. Has battery preservation features and ethernet port. Some users say to switch 5G mode to NSA if the hotspot restarts frequently in your area.
Add/update if you have more/better info.

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

1. I applied for a business account online yesterday using my business's FEIN. Got a message indicating more information was required to process my credit.
2. I called a couple times to get someone who knew what to do. After about half an hour, he said he had nearly everything complete, but I would still need to go to a store to show my ID.
3. Went to the store this morning and spent about 45 minutes there.
4. They didn't know about the unlimited tablet plan but were able to look it up using the SOC. They found both the TE and TI plans and got me on the TI plan.
My total out the door was $120:
* $30 activation fee, which has already been reimbursed as a credit on my account
* $72 down payment on the tablet
* $18 tax on the full price of the tablet
My monthly bill should be $7, as the $72 down payment should be credited back over 24 months at $3 a month. The other $128 of the tablet price is also amortized over the 24 months. If I were to terminate service before 24 months, I would owe the prorated remainder of that $128.
I've logged into my account online and can see that my plan is "Magenta Bus Tab 10GB Promo". It currently says my monthly fee is $0.00, for some reason. It also says my device is an iPhone 13. Not sure what's going on there. It does also show that a "SAM TAB A7 LITE 32G GRY KIT" is on an installment plan to pay off $128 remaining.
Hopefully the online stuff gets sorted out. I may have to make another phone call, or appearance at the store.
Assuming everything works out correctly in the end, I'm paying $7 a month for 24 months = $168 plus $120 today minus $30 (reimbursement of activation fee) = $258. For $258 total, I get unlimited data service for 24 months and the tablet. If that's not a slick deal, I don't know what is!
Thanks!
Edit, calling that number (800-937-8897) yielded a barely understandable lady who wanted my CC and exp date. Scam.
I remember someone mentioned it is possible to change the hotspot settings to make the SIM card "think" it is a tablet. I am not sure how it is done. but If that is possible, then theoretically it should work on the hotspot.

Thank you. Do you still have kickback discount on your lines?
The closest thing I find on t-mobile website is their marketing preference department : https://www.t-mobile.com/privacy-...ing-choice
And number is even different… 800 937 8997
Still, this is during the initial setup and things might be clogging the downloads. I'll check again in a bit.

Apparently, T-Mobile was not able to verify my phone number on my business account documents that they had access to. The rep was very nice and helpful. I called 1-877-754-6367, in case anyone else needs this number, which is different than what was listed on the "more information is needed to continue processing your credit check page" and different from the business number listed in another post.
- the rep asked me to confirm the EIN, the business address, the email, and the phone number
- I emailed a digital copy of my Articles of Organization (and the IRS EIN letter just in case)
- I used the online tool on my iPhone to scan my photo ID and two selfies needed for verification
The business support rep will follow up with me tomorrow after the verification process. She was knowledgeable about the $10 plan and also found the one with taxes/fees included. I may or may not opt to go for the free tablet, since I am not sure if I really care for the A7, even if I can sell it.
FYI, I'm coming from a Tello $6/month 1GB data/no minutes/free text plan, but it's been quite slow on in my iPad Mini LTE. I've had Tello for almost 2 years, and it's always been slow. This will be a nice upgrade for an extra $1-4/month.

I did it all online, didn't goto any store nor called. I only got the tablet line no voice line. The only issue is that like the plan i got was tax excluded, when i was trying to get tax inclusive plan it wasn't giving me free tablet promo. Also, some people while calling were able to get rep waive the $20 SIM starter kit fee.
I can post images on how to order online if you need more help but yeah, i didn't get voice line. Only got tablet line at $10/month + taxes and the free tablet promo (24 month bill credits)

I use the email address with other companies too, but haven't gotten something like this before. Wondering if there's a pattern with recent T-Mobile accounts getting the same spam.
