They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

I did financing, cause it is easier to budget I guess. It doesn't cost extra, it is 0% APR. I had to pay sales tax on it thought, it was around $18 according to 9 ish % sales tax in my area.

I had ordered the tablet with the UL data plan and few days ago and mistakenly got the TE plan.
After hearing here about the differences between the two plans, I went ahead and contacted T-mobile.
No only did they change the code from TE to TI for me, I was also able to add the UL plan for $10 by itself to use in my T-mobile hotspot.
I sure love driving my car around with internet.
