Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I have tried so many times now to get HD pass added and absolutely no one can help me. They all say it cant be done but I show them that in the plan description it hints to it. No one can help me.

From the plan description:
Video typically streams on smartphone/tablet at DVD quality (480p) unless HD pass is activated.
All I can say is... try again? FWIW I called 611 around lunchtime (Eastern), and while the first rep couldn't help, they transferred me to someone that could. Key phrases.... "I just signed up for two of these promo tablet plans, and the streaming is basically unusable, and I'm not really happy. I was wondering what option I have available." THEY were the ones that suggested a free 4K/HD pass on both my lines.... I honestly thought they'd try and upsell me a $$ version, but nope. I know of at least two of us on this thread that have received it, so ic CAN be done! Best of luck to you!!!

any idea why I can't set up my business account online using my EIN?

Get started using your Social Security number or Tax ID. But it won't let me choose the "Use a Tax ID (EIN)" option.

CSR last night told me that I would need a EIN. Another CSR from another store told me that I need a Tmobile plan and it would be $65... assuming they didn't know what I was talking about.

If anyone has any advice on how to do this over the phone or chat or something with more success, please let me know

I tried to do it in person but just never found the time to get to a store so I tried calling and got it all done. here is what I posted for someone else in a previous post here....

I called 844-923-3654 spoke with a Business Account Cust Service Rep .. who set my entire Business Account Up for the 2 SIMs. I got more interrogation about my actual Business then anything else.

They Asked for my EIN# , Business Address . Business Phone # (They actually made a return verification phone call to me on my business line to verify the number was legit) , They ran a Business Credit Check on my Company.

After they verified my business everything else was fast and easy.. the rep Overnighted the 2 SIMs via UPS they were at my house by 2 pm the following day. I plugged the SIMs into my devices, it took a few minutes to connect to network and sync up and I was running with Internet on my devices Tmobile knew nothing about the devices im using prior to or after account setup..

I received my new Verizon Inseego M2100 5G cellular hotspot today.
- tested my Verizon 5G hotspot data plan = 370 down / 68.4 up (cellular bars show 5G symbol)
- (previously my Inseego 8800L pulled = 126 down / 59.8 up on 4G LTE)
- tested the new T-Mobile Magenta Promo unlimited 5G/LTE tablet data plan sim => confirmed the Verizon Inseego M2100 allowed it, meaning these hotspots are still coming from Verizon unlocked
- T-Mobile Magenta tablet data SIM = 80.5 down / 8.03 up (cellular bars showed 5G) (was hoping to see higher speeds based on someone's test in the iPhone 13 with 5G UW)
- (Previous test of the T-Mobile SIM in the Inseego 8800L = 32.8 down / 9.08 up)

* these tests were done near a window on the second floor of my home in San Francisco, CA

Postpaid Sprint consumer customers cannot get this plan using DBA/SSN. It does not work online or via telesales. You'll have to go the EIN route if you want one.

You think in-store would work?

Man I was rooting for you, just waiting to hear back from you with good news, then was gonna shell out the $400 for that thing. Too bad. Are you going to test whether it gets throttled using it tethered?

The older 8800L is about $25-60 on eBay. The Verizon (unlocked) M2100 is about $150-250 (used) on eBay, and the T-Mobile (locked) M2100 is about $100-150 (used) on eBay.

Based on fbeuller's test on the T-Mobile hotspot, I wouldn't expect different results (limited to hotspot usage when using straight cellular hotspot or hopefully "unlimited" when usb tethered). For my use case, I need the mobility, so it's not practical for me to carry around an extra Mango router and power source just to get Wi-Fi when I'm in my car or out and about.

Still, at $10/month, I am considering getting a second SIM just to hold onto for a future tablet or second hotspot or computer one day. I'm going to keep my $20/month (20GB) Verizon 5G hotspot data plan for my actual remote work. (I don't plan on using my hotspot for home internet.)

This hotspot doesn't support band n41 so it can't connect to T-mobile's 5G UC network which is the network iphone used to pull 500+ mbps.

The T-mobile version should support that band. Any advice what would be the negative of getting it instead of Verizon besides being locked to T-mobile?

Click on the main link in the original SD post. It should bring you to the T-Mobile business site. Click on Devices, then Tablets.

If you don't want the free Samsung A7 tablet, then click Devices, then Bring Your Own Device. On that page, enter the IMEI of the tablet you are bringing. You'll need a valid IMEI of a LTE-enabled tablet (I think) to be able to see the Magenta Business Unlimited Promo data plan.
I'm trying to order the SIM card online and use my own tablet. After I enter the IMEI for my tablet, it shows an option to shop plans, but I don't see these tablet plans anywhere. If I choose the free Samsung A7 tablet, then the two $10 plans show up. Has anyone been able to order just the SIM card only online with the $10 plans (without having to call in or go to the store)?
