They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

From the plan description:
Video typically streams on smartphone/tablet at DVD quality (480p) unless HD pass is activated.
Get started using your Social Security number or Tax ID. But it won't let me choose the "Use a Tax ID (EIN)" option.
If anyone has any advice on how to do this over the phone or chat or something with more success, please let me know
I called 844-923-3654 spoke with a Business Account Cust Service Rep .. who set my entire Business Account Up for the 2 SIMs. I got more interrogation about my actual Business then anything else.
They Asked for my EIN# , Business Address . Business Phone # (They actually made a return verification phone call to me on my business line to verify the number was legit) , They ran a Business Credit Check on my Company.
After they verified my business everything else was fast and easy.. the rep Overnighted the 2 SIMs via UPS they were at my house by 2 pm the following day. I plugged the SIMs into my devices, it took a few minutes to connect to network and sync up and I was running with Internet on my devices Tmobile knew nothing about the devices im using prior to or after account setup..
- tested my Verizon 5G hotspot data plan = 370 down / 68.4 up (cellular bars show 5G symbol)
- (previously my Inseego 8800L pulled = 126 down / 59.8 up on 4G LTE)
- tested the new T-Mobile Magenta Promo unlimited 5G/LTE tablet data plan sim => confirmed the Verizon Inseego M2100 allowed it, meaning these hotspots are still coming from Verizon unlocked
- T-Mobile Magenta tablet data SIM = 80.5 down / 8.03 up (cellular bars showed 5G) (was hoping to see higher speeds based on someone's test in the iPhone 13 with 5G UW)
- (Previous test of the T-Mobile SIM in the Inseego 8800L = 32.8 down / 9.08 up)
* these tests were done near a window on the second floor of my home in San Francisco, CA

You think in-store would work?

Man I was rooting for you, just waiting to hear back from you with good news, then was gonna shell out the $400 for that thing. Too bad. Are you going to test whether it gets throttled using it tethered?
Still, at $10/month, I am considering getting a second SIM just to hold onto for a future tablet or second hotspot or computer one day. I'm going to keep my $20/month (20GB) Verizon 5G hotspot data plan for my actual remote work. (I don't plan on using my hotspot for home internet.)

The T-mobile version should support that band. Any advice what would be the negative of getting it instead of Verizon besides being locked to T-mobile?

If you don't want the free Samsung A7 tablet, then click Devices, then Bring Your Own Device. On that page, enter the IMEI of the tablet you are bringing. You'll need a valid IMEI of a LTE-enabled tablet (I think) to be able to see the Magenta Business Unlimited Promo data plan.
