Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I just ordered a normal T9 off eBay yesterday so I don't actually have one right now. As for more info, look at post 1446 by dvdrdiscs in this thread.
T9 is a remarkable device but it has two problems , maybe TMOHS1 too:
  1. The battery does not last long
  2. No 5G support

My TMOHS1 battery lasts over 10 hours. It's a beast. Plus, extra batteries are free (if you know what I mean). Smilie

I mean the lifespan of the battery on T9 is not long. Of course, you can use it as plugged to the wall without a battery

I am on the TI plan; called TMo Biz today and the person on the line easily added the HD Pass for me for both my tablet lines. I immediately got a text message confirming it and speed was about twice as fast as before.

So..... Just to update as promised. Had a chance to flash the new FW and kernel patch to my m2000. Base FW flash is built on the VZ m2100 FW, bet edited and patched with T-mobile bands etc. Did not unlock device as there us no need with these plans.... Still has T-mobile splash screen etc. Immediately lit up 5g, and in my locale a full 5 bars. Also "fixed" my imei #. Ping is 18ms with a jitter of 5ms, pulled 620 down and 33 up..... I'm happy!

Can I put this in my Samsung Note 9 and create a hotspot that draws from the unlimited data?
Which hack / app do I need for this?

I also just did this via Twitter business. Added with zero issues and my speeds doubled from 60ish to 150ish.

The HD pass wouldn't be responsible for increased speeds. It only impacts video streams by allowing ~8Mbps vs. ~2.5Mbps. Everything else is unaffected.

Glad to hear you got it added, though.

I only get 6Mbps after adding HD pass. And some people say they get 17 mbps, I don't know why everyone is getting higher speed than me

Thanks for the update! Have you tested speeds on Fast.com to see if video streaming is still throttled to 1080p? Have you tried any console gaming with voice chat or any type of video conference call apps like goto meeting or zoom or Teams? Have you tested with VPN to see what kind of latency and speeds you get? Also have you checked into the possibility of modding the device to accept external antennas? If you don't mind sharing the firmware mods, it might be worth me getting a 3rd line just for this device.

Speeds are highly dependent on location.

All Magenta plans are capped at 480p (or roughly 2.5Mbps) without an HD pass. The HD pass removes this cap and institutes a new cap for the equivalent of 1080p (around 6-8Mbps).

If anyone else is experiencing greater speeds, they're likely not accounting for the fact that those streams are *not* video streams. Anything other than video (such as running a speed test on Speedtest.net) will run at full speed, whatever that happens to be.
