Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I ended up having to call to add another line, decided it's worth to have a secondary device for $10 all in just in case. Took maybe 10 minutes and I got a great rep, hopefully in the future we can get a definitive answer on the quanta 5G, will be using the TMOHS1 for now.

For anyone moving from SIM to ESIM on an iphone, did the rep give you any issues at all giving an Iphone IMEI? I want to move my first line to my phone.

Not sure.... Using mine to provide home internet tethered to my Asus router via usb, the router continually charges the m2000, albeit at a slower/lower rate than the oem wall wart.

I converted my prepaid physical sim to esim, it did require some "explanation" to the agent. It is really depending on who you get on the other line. I got a very helpful one that she did the research and came back to say prepaid esim for Android is not possible. I kept insisting on a reference on T-Mobile site that it can be done on Android (I skipped the postpaid reference). She then sent me the QR code afterwards.

Just got this plan,
when I log in, it shows as $0.00/month. Does it mean I have this for free?

What is the purpose of moving from physical sim to eSim? Any advantage?

I put mine on esim and use a physical sim for my 2nd line (Freeup free 250 minute voice/text only line) on the iphone so this set up gets me voice/text/unlimited data for only $10/month all-in.

yep, using it in my iphone 12 mini. As long as your phone has esim capability, it'll work.

Download to old version firmware and enable ssh, then can connect to the hotspot to change settings.
Did you ever figure out the TTL value for the T9? Someone replied to you to try 64 but based on your reply I wasn't sure if that worked or not. TIA

Press a pin down the little hole for about 30 seconds and it will reset back to factory settings with password Admin + last four digits of the IMEI, you don't need to be logged in.

I don't know if the on device script persists through a reset,, so I just re-did it and set it not to update.

I do confirm it works 100% as on device data and shows as a phone in the tmobile account.

Hmm, tried TTL = 64 and still reporting as HotSpot data.

Is this what you have on your T9?

iptables -t mangle -F
export TTL=64
export INTERFACE=rmnet_data0
ip6tables -t mangle -l POSTROUTING -o $INTERFACE -j HL -hl-set $TTL
ip6tables -t mangle -l PREROUTING -i $INTERFACE -j HL -hl-set $TTL
iptables -t mangle -l POSTROUTING -o $INTERFACE -j TTL -ttl-set $TTL
iptables -t mangle -l PREROUTING -i $INTERFACE -j TTL -ttl-set $TTL

TIA
