They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Did you need to go to the store to show your EIN letter? Did they ask for any document for verifying your business?
Nope, did it all over the phone, I think have the EIN ready is important
The TMOHS1 is only 4G.
The gateway gets me faster speeds, more than double, at the same spot
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o usb0 -j MASQUERADE
iptables -A FORWARD -i br0 -j ACCEPT
iptables -t mangle -A FORWARD -p tcp --tcp-flags SYN,RST SYN -j TCPMSS --clamp-mss-to-pmtu
iptables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING -o $(get_wanface) -j TTL --ttl-set 64
iptables -t mangle -I PREROUTING -i $(get_wanface) -j TTL --ttl-set 64
did you load the custom firmware on your router? i think that runs either merlin or tomato variant for the specific AC1900 router.
Which number did you call? Thanks!

I just got the XE5300 which doesnt have a USB port.. bummer.. I need to get me a router which has usb port..
However, the only way I could do it was to do it over again, doing a factory hard reset using the device pin hole or the software factory reset option, and then go thru the entire process again.
It's pretty quick.
Thanks to the person who came up with this hack, theTMOHS1 works perfectly.
And the Galaxy A7 Lite tablet can be used on WiFi anywhere.
Had also gotten the AT&T Moxee Mobile Hotspot, K779HSDL, at the same time as the TMOHS1, so if anyone knows of a similar hack for it, please post here.
Also, the T-Mo TMOHS1 web site states:
Software Update
The device automatically updates to the latest software version when it's available. There is no option to manually check for a software update.

So, it's best to do the #6.
Anyone who may have just received a T-Mo Test Drive device, what model device did you get?
Most likely the TMOHS1 is no longer shipped.

Yes, I did hack it though using the steps in this forum.
