Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Sometimes I turn off 5G on my phones and it gives better battery life without compromising performance. Just turn it on if you ever need it
That's what I want to do on M2100 but there is no option just to use LTE. Unless it is hidden somewhere.

It's funny how the price of the M2100 went up a lot in the last few weeks since it started getting promoted here
Got it around $100 in FB marketplace. eBay price is inflated

I have both. Yes, the 5g21 is faster but lacks portability. So it depends on your needs.
I just want to leave one line at the warehouse. Tried with m2100 but once the power is out, it's useless. I need it for alarm + security cams. UPS might solve the problem but since I have 5g21 lying around, might as well try it.

Not sure how much Tmobile will charge me if I don't return the 5g21.

If you're never moving it, the 5G21 is the better option. However, if the power goes out the 2100 battery keeps it running for 8-10 hours for me. So I don't quite get the logic. But you can use a UPS, obviously, for the 5G21.

No idea how much they charge, but you can buy a 5G21 easily for 70 bucks or so on FB Marketplace or the Bay.

Does this $10 tablet sim work with the Nokia 5G21 out of the box? Does it not get flagged since that device is a T-Mobile device?

my setup was using old Peplink via USB tethering. when the power is out, it reboots and m2100 will ask for the type of USB connection. I wish it would just charge & internet by default.

I guess Beryl will solve the problem as well since Beryl can be used as a wifi repeater.

From previous posts, it works but will be counted as hotspot data

It works but using your 10GB hotspot allowance. Hence, change the TTL. Wink

But you don't need to tether the m2100 for unlimited native data to begin with. You're adding an extra unnecessary step with the router in the mix.

Can't change on it directly, need to attach another WiFi router to it

I bought GL.iNet GL-AR300M16 from Amazon for changing TTL (you can probably get it for cheaper from somewhere else I guess, also maybe other models are better, I just bought the first GL.iNet router I saw lol)

Link to it - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0777L5YN6

There is guide at https://jv.ag/blog/GLinet-TTL-Change/ on how to do it, I did it in like 5 minutes, it was really easy.

yes... but I need it to connect to the already set up mesh network. I already have a few Orbi satellites to cover wireless security cams around the property.

It works for you? for some reason, it still counts as a hotspot. I am trying with GL.Inet Beryl

Nevermind... I change it to 68 and so far, it works...
