They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

In your other post you state:
1. Installed Python 3.10.6 in windows 10. The Python310 folder is located in C:\Python310
2. Extracted and copied the contents of TMOHS1.zip into the C:\Python310 folder
BUT
when Python is installed it should be at:
C:\Users\WIN_8\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310
Replace WIN_8 for the correct one in your PC.
Unless you changed the install.
Check to see if there is a:
C:\Users\WIN_8\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310 in your PC.
Python is NOT in the system32 directory.
All TMOHS1-Root-Utility-main.zip extracted files should be copied to the C:\Users\WIN_8\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310 directory.
Make sure all the files of the TMOHS1-Root-Utility-main.zip file are extracted in the TMOHS1 folder.
.gitignore
COPYING
patchUSB.sh
README.md
requirements.txt
rootScript.py
usb.patch
utils.py
Also there is a folder in the TMOHS1 folder named: __pycache__
and that there is a file in there:
utils.cpython-310.pyc
Also in my TMOHS1 folder there is the pip3.10.exe file.
You can google pip3.exe and pip3.10.6.exe and/or search youtube for more info on it.
Also, see this post:
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=
NOTE that the github zip file stated in #3 of the original instruction in this thread is NO LONGER there, Not Found:
3. Download the zip file from https://github.com/parker-stephen...s/main.zip and unzip it.
In my PC using PowerShell this is the command:
PS D:\TMOHS1_Root_Utility> .\pip install -r requirements.txt
then there are several lines beginning with:
Requirement already satisfied:
(Since that's already been run in my PC.)
and ending with:
[notice] A new release of pip available: 22.2.2 -> 22.3.1
[notice] To update, run: python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip
PS D:\TMOHS1_Root_Utility>
Some info on the TMOHS1 here:

Thank you for your input. I re-installed Python using the default installation location and copied
.gitignore
COPYING
patchUSB.sh
README.md
requirements.txt
rootScript.py
usb.patch
utils.py
to the Python 310 directory. I'm missing the folder pycache containing utils.cpython-310.pyc, AND pip3.10.exe that must be present in the Python 310 directory. The included download link for the zip file is NOT FOUND. Would it possible to obtain from you the missing contents that must be placed in Python 310 directory? I've included screenshot of my Python 310 directory along with my email (PM).
Also, are also putting TMOHS1_Root_Utility in the D partition when you run the command PS D:\TMOHS1_Root_Utility> .\pip install -r requirements.txt?
Thank you,
F
You may be able to jump start by applying ~4 VDC to the TMOHS1's + and - terminals (see + and - marks on battery). Note the middle terminal is for balancing the charge between the three internal cells.
Is the HDPass code still valid? They won't or can't add it.
They kept going: The code cannot be added on any plan. It doesn't exist in our system. I'm offering to change the plan to one that has more features.

The next lady straight out told me that I would have to goto the store cause I wasn't an authorized user on the plan... wth! The plan is in my name.
I didn't get mad though. Facebook support did it like it was nothing.

Do you have a video link or a picture or something more visual for jump start? Would appreciate that.

If you don't see all the lights coming on, then remove the battery and check the battery voltage with a voltmeter. Look for a - and + terminals on the battery. Nominal voltage for starting is around 3.8VDC. If the voltage is too low, then connect three 1.5VDC batteries in series and apply this voltage to the - and + terminals of the TMOHS1 (with battery inserted in TMOHS1).
I guess I'll try again on Facebook tomorrow.
