Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Thanks and repped. I think I got it. Is there any way to verify in account or is only way to speed test at fast.com? I don't have business portal because I used SS#, only consumer portal

I put my sim in a phone and I got 3 texts. First, thank you for purchasing pass...., Second, your pass was removed, Third, thank you for purchasing pa

Update fast.com only showing 6mbps... Don't think it was added correctly
The only way to tell is to first get the message that the HD pass was "purchased" and two, to test the line with a streaming service like netflix. When I didnt have the HD pass the streams on TV via fire stick looked atrocious, very grainy video. I could easily tell netflix was being throttled, but after enabling HD my netflix streams looked the way it should in HD. If you have any streaming service try it out and if it doesnt look any different than it should then your HD pass is working. If you're only getting 6mbps download then the T-mo tower location and traffic must be the issue. Hope that helps.

Hi. I'd like to verify this point from the Wiki before making a purchase:

"5. TMOHS1 - ~ 30-50 mbps out of the box, no TTL update required"

Is this still accurate, and does it mean if I put one of these business unlimited tablet plans in a TMOHS1, that it won't be limited to 10GB of hotspot data before being throttled?

Thanks in advance for any info!
No, it is not accurate anymore. If the TMOHS1 is anything like the Franklin T9 i picked up last week then this tablet plan will not work with the TMOHS1/Franklin hotspots out of the box. I get a signal on my T9 but whatever I did I could not get a data feed to the laptop it was connected to. Least effort way to get connected and get around the hotspot limit is to get something like a Cudy LTE router and change the TTL.

Saw something about T-Mobile changing plans unless you login and disable some option they just added... Does that apply to these plans too?

I am not actually using my sim for home internet as I have 200Mbps Comcast plan for $25with XFi Complete. I do have an Arcadyan and hacked the TTL on my Asus but the Asus for some reason has slow wifi speeds so I dont bother, I do not pay for Comcast equipment so just use that.

My ATT annual plan runs out in December and I plan to port number to US Mobile on their $10 2gb plan on eSim and use the TMO sim in phone for unlimited data. But having the pass is a nice extra for streaming video to phone. Rep claims he: "Great question. I did not add the daily pass I added the one that should stay on the account so you should be good to go. "

I think 6 Mbps is the 1080p speed you get from Fast.com speed test which specifically tests Netflix servers - so even though that is slow as shit for today's standards I think it does indicate HDPass

My TMOHS1 still works fine, it's patched for no updates and the TTL fix, all good and not reporting as hotspot.

Did the TMOHS1 work out of the box using the 10gb hotspot data? Because I get a signal on my T9 but no data transfer. You're using fast.t-mobile.com apn?

That stinks. WHen you say you get a signal on the T9, is it just signal bars, or does it also include the LTE indicator?

It gets a signal but no upload and download arrows on the screen, if you know what I mean.

I have a T9 and it never worked for me either, you have to do things to make it work that aren't kosher (mess with the IMEI of the device).

The TMOHS1 worked out of the box, but used the hotspot data for me, then you TTL patch it and disable updates so the script doesn't get overwritten. Speed is 50/10 nowadays, but it's okay since it has HDPASS for normal usage.

I got a good deal on an Orbic 5G last year and used that for awhile but it got flagged unfortunately. Possibly because I took the Orbic to the EU with me and used it there for two weeks (TMOHS1 does not work in EU).

If you want speed and coverage, doing a psim to esim swap on an iphone is the best, that's what I use, speeds here are 500/150.

I had to buy another router GL inet brand and then this script https://jv.ag/blog/GLinet-TTL-Change/

I don't know if you can change TTL directly on LM1200 but worth trying

However LM1200 is kinda slow and I think 4G/LTE only and I felt speeds were slower

I bought T-Mobile home router from eBay it was cheap and I get way better speeds like 80-100 Mbps easily but it is very ymmv depending on your location and how far cellular antenna are from you
