Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I had to buy another router GL inet brand and then this script https://jv.ag/blog/GLinet-TTL-Change/

I don't know if you can change TTL directly on LM1200 but worth trying

However LM1200 is kinda slow and I think 4G/LTE only and I felt speeds were slower

I bought T-Mobile home router from eBay it was cheap and I get way better speeds like 80-100 Mbps easily but it is very ymmv depending on your location and how far cellular antenna are from you

Thanks for the reply. I'll abandon the LM1200 then. I have been looking at T-Mobile routers on eBay.

Read here that some eventually got their router blacklisted so was concerned about that.

I would still need another router where I would change the TTL that's connected to T-Mobile router, correct?

If so, I will check out the GL. Was looking at Cudy (easy of changing TTL) but I have never heard of them. Are they reputable? Thanks again.

Yes, you would need another router even with T-Mobile Home router. I am not sure about blacklisting part but I heard about it from others too.

You can get Cudy router from Amazon they have 30 day to try and return if you don't like. My friend was using one, I also have one also (wifi one not LTE/SIM card one)

It's so simple to change TTL on Cudy vs GL Inet,

Using the parkercs.tech website script hack he uses 64.

I received my TMOHS1 earlier today and managed to use parkercs' wonderful script to root, hack ttl and lock it from updates and its working great. I'm only getting 10 mbps download so far compared to about 100 mbps in a nokia 5g gateway with openwrt router, but this makes a nice portable option. definitely worth the $10 for a used TMOHS1.

I am using this SIM card with Cudy LT500.
Speed is not great but fair.
The problem is that I can't port forward.
The internet is for only credit card terminals and Surveillance systems.
The credit card terminal has no problem.
Outside of my store, I cannot watch the surveillance camera.
The CCTV offers its own DDNS service, and it is active. Also right port forwarding setup.
Seems like this plan doesn't allow it. Correct?

That's the main issue with internet from Tmobile, it uses CG-NAT which doesn't allow the port forwarding to work, even though you have it configured at the router level.

There's ways to make it work, the way I do it is use a VPN and then use the port forwarding offered through them, which uses the external IP of the VPN Tunnel.

I don't have an LT500 but a quick google does show it allows on device creation of a VPN tunnel, maybe something you can look into,

I had a T-Mobile Gateway Nokia 5G21 + Cudy AX1800 that was working fine with the tablet SIM.

I went on vacation and put the SIM in a TMOSH1 (unmodified) to use while traveling.

When i returned and put the SIM pack in the previous configuration I now get the message that it connects but no internet. (I did get a notice that the SIM was not at its home location -- possible no 9-1-1 service--but I replied it was back in its original zip and received a positive acknowledgement. I put the SIM back in the original Samsung tablet and it works fine.

Did anyone have a similar issue or suggestion how to get it to work again?

Thanks in advance for any info or advice.

I signed up PureVPN with 120% cashback a few days ago.
Seems like PureVPN also offer the port forwarding addoon with extra cost.
I will try this option. worship

Anybody else with the MR6400 getting data over usb c and ethernet counting as mobile hotspot data? I think sometimes the ethernet doesn't and sometimes it does. Is their a way to patch it by maybe a TTL change?

Another two weeks in Europe later this week for me but in the south this time, relying on this plan to keep me connected, will update once I get back if I ran into any issues though I doubt it, I've reliably been using my AT&T main sim with this plan as the data worldwide for calls and texts.

So it seems that this is an issue with the Nokia 5G21. Once it starts power cycling in an endless loop, there is no fixing it

It's been over a year since I've followed this thread. Can someone tell me which devices are still working for home internet?

T-Mobile 5G gateways with OpenWrt/DD-WRT/Tomato routers, Cudy routers, and TMOHS1 hotspot.
