Then they suspended my line and are refusing to reactivate the line or issue the credit until I send them proof that the dispute has been canceled which could take a couple of weeks.
I'll be moving off RP as soon as possible and suggest others spend a little more to pay for decent customer service.

I gave up at this point and looked up Ebay to see if I can unlock it and get rid of the phone... evenn Ebay sellers don't unlock Redpocket phones... so I am so stuck for next 12 months. URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wasted two days working with RedPocket CS/Tech Support and Apple Support. Apple suggested to return the phone carrier and get a new one as it's not working out of the box and only one day old.
Not getting any help from RedPocket and not sure what I can do at this point.
Any help appreciated.

If it is a faulty device, they should be able to get you a new phone, albeit it will be a refub.
In theory, RP should exchange it but you are better off just getting it done through Apple.
