Unfortunately it just depends on the store you go to as they all have varying levels of equipment and skill. I ended up ordering the same print at a few stores years ago when there was a sale to compare. There was a dramatic difference in some cases.

That's the price you pay for cheap service but when you find one you're happy with it's an unbeatable deal. I rarely order prints from high end print ships anymore.

It's not heavy paper, just typical thin poster that can easy tear. I ripped one while framing but was able to do a reprint at the discount price. The image quality of the print has actually been pretty good at two of my stores. I did several 24"x36" prints. However, the quality of your image matters a lot. Be sure to enable high resolution setting in the upload dialog.
