This game is honestly fun. The gameplay is quite fun. The story is pretty medicore but my god the voice acting is some of the worst I've ever heard. If you play this game, play it in Japanese.

Same here. I played Star Ocean: The Second Story on the PS1 until I eventually got stuck somewhere, and quit. I never knew the franchise continued after the early 2000's.

Star Ocean Second Story was much better than this one. Lots of crafting, minigames, different skills/team setups, less camera motion during fights.

I remembered that game started the beginning of controller with vibration ability. At the time, i thought it was so cool.
