I have a pair in Black. Bought them for this price and absolutely love them. The imaging and detail is just awesome.

My dog barks at scenes (door bells, knocks, etc...) because it sounds so real compared to my old soundbar.

I'm guessing he's saying compared to testing/critical listening where 'snobs' would opt for integrated or dedicated amplifiers, with a separate source.

These are on the entry edge of audiophile, so these getting paired with Rotel, Cambridge, Marantz, etc. isn't that uncommon.

Already seeing it back to $800 unless there's a code I'm missing.

edit: clicking on different colors changes the prices permanently. I had to clear cookies to get the sales price. weird.

As somebody who has owned practically every brand of speaker both modern and vintage, these are in my top ten of all time. Drums on these are particularly amazing and better than I've heard on almost any other speaker. The very definition of deep and tight bass.

I'm not an audiophile but looking to invest into one. Can someone comment on a compatible receiver with this? Also, I can't afford the bundle but curious if it makes more sense to buy the 2x floor speakers first and wait until the 2x satellites and center go on sale?

The price / performance of these speakers are really great when you consider a pair is $760. I replaced my polk rti a7 with these speakers and it made me enjoy music again. I then ended up replacing my costco Yamaha $400 receiver with a separate Denon audio amp and the music was so much more defined than before. These are a good entry into hi fi at a really great price.
