Comparing to Lenovo Legion 5 pro (1400 @ walmart) This has 1080p screen and 100W GPU but larger SSD, much smaller Power Adapter and Intel CPU for those that care for TB4 + extra Costco warranty.

Also i have seen other seller selling the same type of HP laptop with the 1440p and 5800H for really not that much more: For $1500 you can get this in 1440p 165hz screen and 5800H with the same ram and SSD : https://www.newegg.com/p/2WC-0001...8S1FCN05

If it is max power for a 3070 then that probably is a better deal for some. Since 8Gb at high TDP for the RTX 3070 is a big deal for games.

I was referring to the Legion 5 Pro with its significantly heavier 300W brick due to it having the 140W 3070

Also, even if you want to connect a lot of external displays, both of these laptops have three 4K 60hz outputs which is the max number of total external monitors supported by GPU anyway

Thanks for the kind infor. Always confused about usb-c gen2 with DP/PD. Looks like that is not TB3?
usb-c 3.2 gen 2 with DP and PD is 20Gbit/s so not quite TB3 speed,, more like TB2 speed.
I got one of these and returned it.
Poor quality construction, weak plastic shell, and serious screen bleed. Returned same day.
Track pad is also atrocious, and lots of people commented about how theirs was defective.
