Well, it's made for gaming. It takes away the chance of moving your mouse off the pad while your. playing. Once you have one, you actually start to like the freedom it gives you to use your mouse from practically anywhere on your desk. Not a huge huge advantage or difference, but worth a shot at this price .
People put their keyboard on there too.
ignorance is bliss. people with small mousepads don't know what they're missing. they use super high dpi in order to move enough space with a tiny mousepad..but lose accuracy as a result. lower dpi + bigger mousepad = more accurate . also never worrying about accidentally sliding the mouse off the pad or running out of space

in addition, large mousepads provide sound dampening for keyboards and speakers, soft padding for wrists/hands, coaster for drinks, look cool

I had one similar and I cut it into two mouse pads because it was so big.

Seriously why would anyone want a 35" mousepad?

I have a custom mouse pad, 70" x 30" to cover my entire desk, mostly to protect the actual desk surface.

Did the edges fray and roll up when you cut it?

Once you go big you never go back.

I'm sitting asking myself why would anyone would want a small mouse pad?

Speed Edition?
I'll just wait for the Ultra Omega Super Supreme Edition.
For the meantime, I just have to move the mouse faster or slower when I need to.

One side you can put a Laptop on. It's create on lunch breaks. To make room you just slide the mousepad a foot forward. when done eating just slide it back in. It's actually really convenient.
