Too many hoops (or I don't understand the deal).

I have to buy a giftcard from this website, which is actually a giftcard to use at another giftcard website, which can then be used to purchase a giftcard.

Am I missing something? If not, I'm passing on this obstacle course.

I had issue on previous deal which included Under Armour. Since these are treated as "debit cards", if I want to order something over the debit card amount, I wasnt able to use this eGC since the site wouldnt let me do multiple payment methods in 1 transaction. Eg. $50+ $7.50 egc for a $100 purchase. Normally It would be $57.50 eGC payment+ $42.5 credit card payment.

Then on the flipside, if I order something less such as $50 item.. then I'm left with $7.50 that I can't use unless i buy an item for $7.50 or less. So there will always be $ left on the card.

Anyone know a way to get around this? I couldn't figure out how to combine eGC - not sure it's possible.

Note: I had a problem that when clicking the "redeem" link in the email, I would get a 404. If it happens to you, Have a look at the url in the browser - the link is something like https://blah//foo. Remove one of the forward slashes from the SECOND set of double slashes and it works.

In my case (quite a few cards) the link never worked. If the button does not work, go to http://redeem.giftcards.com and enter the card number and PIN.

Thanks, repped you. I just didn't know if it would allow you to enter a custom amount to get the lowes card, I thought it would make you pick a certain denomination thereby making it hard to use the $7.50 bonus. But nope it was easy, just enter the custom amount of $57.50 and get your Lowe's gift card for 57.50 which can be used in store or online.

You are getting 15% more than you are paying, but that is not how discounts are measured.

The correct way to calculate the percentage of a discount is (discount/original price) * 100. You are getting $57.50 of value on the gift card, and you are paying $7.50 less than that, so the percentage is (7.5/57.5)*100 = 13.043% discount.

You mentioned in the OP that you were able to get a couple of cards, how did you get discounts on both cards, did you use a different email address for each order?
