Despite by the lack of usb c charging I picked one up for 550- open box excellent. Any feedback if it's worth it for that price?
after reading some reviews it seems like it tends to get hot. noticed my local BB has 2 open boxes as well and 1 certified. kind of has me concerned on why they have 3 used/returns for sale.
You can get Galaxy Book Pro or Pro 360 from Samsung directly for this price using Samsung EPP(education or work). Just wait for Samsung to unload these once Pro2 is out there in the market. Samsung heavily discounts old generations phones, tablets and computers.

I own one of these and am generally happy with it. The screen is unbeatable at this (or maybe any sub-$2K) price point in terms of brightness and pop. It does get hot when plugged in and the fan is rather loud; however on battery it seems fan isn't on as much nor does it get as hot, likely due to the throttling/power settings I have on. Keyboard leaves a little to be desired, but the metal case is solid and it's a perfect lightweight laptop for travel and otherwise I plug it into a dock when working at home. No USB-C charging is annoying, but you get what you pay for - the adapter is pretty small and lightweight, and battery life is good.

Cheaper if you log into edu account, $519.99 + 10% CB on a popular site
That popular CB website which ends with TEN has been screwing A LOT OF PEOPLE in not giving their 12% cash back from the deal on the release if the S22 line last month.
Source: me, my brother, and two close friends.
The CB company claims "Samsung didn't give us proof of the sale so we cannot pay you " I sent them proof of purchase along with screenshots of the CB ticket number and their initial confirmation, and they said they investigate and get back to me. That was two weeks ago.
TL;DR CB incentives are not reliable and should be considered a bonus, and not part of the underlying purchase decision.

Other than that, for the price the specs are great. Was $10 cheaper a month ago though, but not a big difference. Pretty good deal.
