Makita lasts lifetime, whereas any tools made by CCI are made to break down quickly.
I judge men's experience and intelligence by tools one uses. Look at those promoting Milwaukee junk tool in utube, tell me if they're not under some kinds of substance. There is one disease cannot be cured, it's called stupidity.
You gotta admit, the irony of that post is kind of funny.

Milwaukee is made by TTI, and it's clear you don't know what you are talking about

Have been using same kit from 2017 ocasionally. It was very cheap at that time (175 from Amazon)and love it so far. My kit did not have that handle though. I think hammer drill is very good for light home/office fix job and love impact drive for car maintanence.

You are thinking of a different kit, probably XT269M.

As we say in heavy construction, Milwaukee has the power but makita has the finess
Totally. Makita design is very well balanced (battery placement), ergonomic, and feels more compact.. Milwaukee I agree has a lot of power but heavy

I agree with this. My DeWalt tools are more powerful than the Makita tools of my coworkers. But hot damn, Makita sawzalls are so smooth and make nice cuts. Same with their circular saws. They're nice tools to use and they get the job done. When my DeWalts start dropping I'll think about making the switch.

Milwaukee for impacts. Dewalt for drill motor. Makita for finess.

Also, those m18 batteries are legit. The m18 topoff has been clutch multiple times

We are certainly living in the golden age of cordless power tools. You really can't go wrong with most brands. Even the homeowner grade stuff is more powerful than tools from 90's and early 2k's. Cheaper too.

Not a bad deal but it will be lower at some point in the future from HD with hacks. I also picked it up during the 2x BMSM glitch at HD for $195. That was so cheap for these tools I bought them even though I didn't need them.

On a side note if you're wondering if these tools are good, they're great. I like these better than dewalt and Milwaukee tools and batts. My current set is the Makita xt268t which has been awesome. Those are honestly nearly as good and maybe better in some minor preference ways. So if you can get the 268t kit for cheap get that one or get this one if you want the newest and best top of the line Makita kit
Doubtful. That was a one time glitch. If you need it and will get immediate use/benefit, no need to wait. Makes more sense than buying two you don't need.

And just think. The next step. It could be any number of things. I remember the Nicad batteries and the problems those had. But you can tell those who have been around, we take care of our batteries
