Porting Out
The port-out PIN is no longer 123456, neither is it the 4-digit PIN on your Account Settings page.
You have to call customer service, 833-502-6678, to get the 6-digit Port-Out PIN.
The number to be ported will need to be reachable.

When you ordered your sim did you choose to get a new number? I want to make sure you're not charged anything if you don't plan on using the sim. As a heads up if you did request a new number then your sim is express activated and you will be charged for the following month as soon as that billing cycle comes around. So to be safe make sure to go on to your account and remove auto pay as well as call customer care to cancel your service. If you are porting in your number then no need to worry you wont be express activated and wont be charged.

I may switch but think two the other three phones on my plan are likely locked to boost for another year or so. Plan is $120/mo unlimited everything w/30gig/mo hotspot/line.
Ordered earlier of year, it arrived a month later. I was never able to use the $0.99 for first month, they tried to charge me full rate month before the SIM card arriving
edit: found it. have to do it on website.
Be careful people, everything might be OK, but definitely an unpleasant initial experience.
Make sure you at least use a virtual card and disable it right away.

I can also see why you would think you wouldn't have to do it,. If it happened automatically on some other phone.
