I got this deal last year and don't do it. I've never had worse customer service I created a Twitter just to blast boost and get some sort of resolve

I now don't want to use their service. Even if I receive SIM card in 2 weeks, I'm not going to use it. I already ordered new SIM card from Tello Tuesday and I received tracking number same day.

Hi Bravo,

When you ordered your sim did you choose to get a new number? I want to make sure you're not charged anything if you don't plan on using the sim. As a heads up if you did request a new number then your sim is express activated and you will be charged for the following month as soon as that billing cycle comes around. So to be safe make sure to go on to your account and remove auto pay as well as call customer care to cancel your service. If you are porting in your number then no need to worry you wont be express activated and wont be charged.

Best of luck for you, I never want to deal with Boost again after this. This, along with the poor website design (performance and bugs) was incredibly annoying and a waste of time and money for everyone.

I have been on Boost for years. Was always acceptable until a few months ago when had to install new sim card in my S9+ and now service is worse than before.
I may switch but think two the other three phones on my plan are likely locked to boost for another year or so. Plan is $120/mo unlimited everything w/30gig/mo hotspot/line.

Ordered earlier of year, it arrived a month later. I was never able to use the $0.99 for first month, they tried to charge me full rate month before the SIM card arriving

How do you remove autopay on the website, I'm having a challenging time seeing the option to remove the card on file or turn off autopay (and I don't see any option for Deselect "Use AutoPay to make future payments easier")

I signed up and there is no option to disable auto pay because I don't have a phone number assigned... they have my card stored and yet customer service is insisting that I don't have an account or a way to disable auto pay or remove my card from being stored.

Be careful people, everything might be OK, but definitely an unpleasant initial experience.

Make sure you at least use a virtual card and disable it right away.

Just got my new sim card yesterday, pre-activated with a new number. It also came attached to some iPhone 12 Pro IMEI and won't work on my android phone. Called boost CS 4 times, still not working despite them assuring me that they've changed the IMEI to be attached to the sim card ICC ID. Not gonna waste anymore time. Here I got a new motto for Boost" "Once and never!"

Yeah, I did now and it works. Why weren't any of the CS agents able to tell me that... My other android phone (G21+) worked without adding the APN, so I assumed it wasn't an issue (OP Nord 5g).

Pretty crazy that setting your APN wasn't suggested.

I can also see why you would think you wouldn't have to do it,. If it happened automatically on some other phone.
