A little concerned there are reviews talking about silver/metal color material being wiped off when simply drying the bowl with a paper towel or cloth. Seems made of unsafe products and your animals would be drinking whatever that is leeching into the water.

Animals with arthritis appreciate less pain by not needing to bend or crouch to eat and drink.

Holds 10 oz. These are small but good to use for extra food and water for cats if you are away for a weekend.

It's actually even less. The stand is 3.36in tall and the bowl is 2in deep, so the bottom of the bowl isn't even 1.5in off the ground.

Maybe if you feed your pet outside. I have one and the bowl is 3" off my kitchen floor. 🤣

We got this bowl for our mini poodle when she got older and she started having trouble eating. Really well made and perfect for a small dog, around 10lbs

This is a finger bowl. My dog drinks from a 3.5 gallon bowl that sits in a 5 gallon Homer bucket. He leans down to drink.

Does this tip over easily? My 12 year old mini Doxie is losing her sight and isn't always precise when she goes for a drink.

Until the animal develops bloat due to the raised feeder and is in even more pain.

Somehow the raised food/water bowl industry convinced people that their animals are in danger by not having one, yet in reality they're the ones endangering animals.

^this. My 15 year old shihtzu eats better out of this bowl than one on the floor.

Interesting read. I would have thought the raised feeders would have been better for bloat. Who knew! It should be noted this article isn't against raised feeders it in fact lists benefits of them for some dogs. It recommends not using raised feeders if the dog is susceptible to bloat. Since this is a small-sized bowl and bloat is more of a problem for large and XL dogs, it probably isn't much of a concern for many purchasers unless they have a family history of the problem. But good information to know if you have a larger dog that is more prone to the problem.

The stand is 6" tall, not 3.36". Not sure where you got such a wrong but precise number.
