Got one years ago at a random Walmart for store clearance of $10 if memory serves. Great price, great headset, should've bought another for backup but just the one has been kicking for years no problem.

I use it for gaming and it's lightyears ahead of old 3.5mm mics since that always picked up the fan noise of the laptop. USB is a blessing. Long cable too, I keep most of it still coiled with twisty tie next to the USB port.

Only issue is it can hurt my ears a bit after long term use especially when wearing hard metal frame glasses but maybe my massive melon is the problem. Smaller heads may be just fine.

These are my work's standard issue headset. Uncomfortable and cheap. Don't buy if you need something that you have to wear for any length of time.

Couldn't agree more. I was shocked at what a cheap POS this thing is. Even at this price, stay away.

I've had these for several years now, they are durable I can tell you that I almost broke the USB connector and it still works, my ears do hurt a bit when I use them for long hours. I don't think you will get any other headset this durable for this price.

I don't play Apex but I played Overwatch, Red Dead Online, and use it for Discord. Sounds pretty good. May not be super duper loud or noise cancelling like a dedicated gaming headset that cups around your ears.
Thank you. I am going to try these.

Amazon's price was $24.95 mid December and went down to $19.99 late December / early January. Afterwards it went up to $21.99. Saturday (yesterday) it dropped to $17.97. It is likely that Amazon or Walmart will price match this Target deal at $15.99, but so far they have not done so.

I wish it has additional option for 3.5mm as well by default.

since my current mac has only USB-C, I have to find 3.5mm adapter for the USB

I couldn't agree more with the comments about these being uncomfortable. Employer supplies this product. Their natural resting position is with the ear muffs touching. So to fit your head between them, there is prolonged pressure on your head. They push the ear to the skull, if you wear glasses, they will be much worse. Exceedingly uncomfortable. At home I play pc games with steelseries arctis 3, the nearly most basic model they put out, those are immensely more comfortable and I get no ear aches or headaches after hours of wear. These Logitech give earaches within about 10-15 minutes. I think if you wear glasses, free is not good enough to take these Logitechs.

Had an older version of these for years for occasional meeting use. The sound quality is incredible for the price. My only gripe on the newer version is that the mic does not swivel all the way around and has to be on the right. I need the mic to be on the left, I know some of you understand, it's just one of those odd things that makes me nuts.

I kind of have to wait for Amazon to match the price for business purchases. These are decent quality for the price and it does have stereo. They are good for occasional calls but probably not something you want to give heavy users like call centers.

At work we have been buying the Plantronics® Blackwire® C3210 USB Headset for this price range and they seem to be a bit better build quality but a bit more money as well. If you want something to last and people are using them for entire shifts then its probably better to spend a bit more and use a call center quality headset like the Plantronics EncorePro HW540.

Glad to see people posting alternatives for heavier use scenarios.

Steelseries Arctis seems like a good value for gaming headsets. At Amazon the wired Arctis 3 is $53 and Arctis 1 is $25. These use 3.5mm plugs instead of USB.

Plantronics is popular for call center applications where the headset is on all day. At Amazon Blackwire C3210 is $36 and EncorePro HW540 is $74. These are single ear. HW540 requires a separate adapter for USB.

The Logitech H151 3.5mm headset is lighter duty than the H390, but may be appropriate for more occasional use. Amazon sells it for $16.

The Steelseries Arctis mentioned by @bob151 uses a 3.5mm plug. It is a gaming headset, but should also work well for office use. The Arctis 1 has good reviews and at $25 seems a great value.

I've gone through 2 pairs of these. At ~2 years of use, mine developed issues with the USB connection to my Mac. They're not built to last.

I'm currently using the HyperX Cloud Alpha (~$70 on sale) for Zoom, which are way more comfortable. Mic and audio quality are solid.I also use them to listen to music on occasion, which you can't do with the Logitechs.

I've got mixed feelings about the USB connection. I'm on a Mac, and sometimes I'll have microphone problems with Zoom and WebEx using the 3.5mm headjack and Airpods. Sometimes I'll have better luck using USB.

For longer office use, I've used gaming headsets (that use 3.5mm audio jack). These deals just appeared:

HyperX Cloud Core 7.1 Gaming Headset (Black) $35 + Free Shipping

HyperX Streamer Starter Pack: SoloCast USB Microphone and Cloud Core Gaming Headset with DTS $60 + 6...

If using for work, I would lean towards the $60 bundle because you get a headset AND a separate USB microphone that can be used as a backup.

I've only started using an XLR mic + audio interface because I wanted to "up" my game. Haven't received any comments if it sounds better, though. LOL.

I love these. Work also gave us them for the pandemic. I ordered an extra one as a backup but it's not needed. The first one been going strong for 2+ years of constant abuse and not only are they clear as a bell music sounds great imo

For $32 you can get 2 of these. Why are we spending twice that lol?
