I was one of the initial ones to order since i could tell it was super slickdeal!!
Now need to find some "woods" to saw.
I have a couple fallen oaks that would appreciate getting abused with your new chainsaw.

Just arrived. Has an Oregon chain which is good. Build quality feels cheap. Hard to believe it costs $150. Other cordless tools used are Ridgid, Ego, Ryobi, Rockwell...

Spent a few minutes trying it on 3 seasoned oak splits 5-6 inches wide. It hacks/cuts with some very undesired choppiness. It seems that the speed is far to slow for a chainsaw. Maybe the safety chain, no kickback, contributes to this. I have no interest in buying a chain for this chainsaw.

On 2 inch live oak branches it cuts much better. Smaller and not seasoned. With 7 cuts total the battery went down 1 bar after fully charged.

In short, worth $50 "to me" maybe. I cut about 2 cords a year with 16 inch and 20 inch chainsaws. Also have a Sunjoe electric and 10" Poll electric that cuts better than this Greenworks cordless. Was hoping the cordless would be closer to those. Will try again on another day then decide

I have 40 years of chainsaw experience and have pro stihls and huskys that do the hard work... I.bought this as a glorified hedge trimmer if you will... I plan on using it to beat down my over grown butterfly bushes and viburnums that have too thick of branches for my husky gas trimmer to attack .. I must agree... The chain speed seems reeeeeaaallllyy slow to be effective (but technically you can take a off bar chain saw chain and cut by hand so it still should work if sharp)... Like toy speed at first attempt... In fact the entire saw feels and looks like a toy. I'll use it for for it is and I'm sure it can handle a 2" viburnum...but for $50 it's about what I expected....let's hope the battery conditions itself and lasts more then a few puny cuts in it's prime...

Sharp chains makes all the difference. Already have a 3/8lp PFERD.

Used it yesterday on 1-3 inch brush requiring 2 battery charges. The battery lasted a lot longer not cutting seasoned hard wood. Like everything else, it has its place and limitations. Its a keeper for $50.

I wonder how much better it would cut with an Advance cut chain or a chain with more cutters, cutters not spaced so far apart. Maybe it will make the saw work too hard, slow it down too much, not sure.

For other's future reference. While certainly not high end, I just used it to cut down a 10in Bradford Pear, which is harder than Maple, and it did ok. I'll need another saw for larger things on the property, but I count it's light weight as an advantage while I am on a ladder. Either way, even if it dies soon, it paid for itself with one tree.
