I have the previous version. Love it and use it a lot. It's a pain to clean fwiw. I think it's been cheaper but this is still a good price IMHO

I have to say that I have been very happy with the quality of all of the Ninja branded items I have purchased. Especially love the Ninja Foodi air friers.

i also have the previous version of this air fryer oven from ninja, and it is pretty much impossible to clean--if you try to deep clean it, expect the circuity behind the internal vents to need some drying time as they will get some residue from whatever cleaner you use. other than cleaning, ninja air fryers are excellent as someone else alluded to in this thread.

I have both, and it would be a difficult choice to make. I'd say I use them interchangeably, can't say one or the other has definite advantage.
But be aware of the size limitations of the Ninja - it's very shallow. With that I'd say Cuisinart is more versatile. Also, matter of personal preference, I like mechanical switches of Cuisinart, simplicity and reliability.

It's hard to clean the fan on the Cuisinart. Is it the same on the Ninja?

I never did, not even sure you really need to clean the fan. If you mean the inner surface, then again, Cuisinart, due to the size, is easier.

I bought this just after Black Friday for $153 after all coupons/discounts and before Kohl's Cash.

This thing is an absolute beast and wonderful to use. It takes about a minute or so to preheat to 400 degrees and the thing is so deep you can fit a ton of stuff on the air fryer rack.

My family of 4 uses this almost every day and does just about all we need. Refrigerated pizza at 400 for 4 minutes tastes just like fresh!

Pain in the ass to clean. I wouldn't air fry meats in this but it's great for toast, veggies, fries, apps and pastries. For meat I'd recommend the Ninja Grill/Air Fryer

I've been using this model for a couple of months and we love it. I'm actually surprised at how much more versatile it is than our old air fryer. We can do frozen or fresh pizza on the sear plate. My big kids like to make grilled cheese on the sear plate. We use the air fryer to do frozen nuggets, reheat pizza, cook homemade chicken nuggets, breaded fish, etc. I bought a grill mat to put on the sear plate and that has made cleanup much better. I also have developed the habit of bringing the sear plate out when I'm loading the air fry basket so it can catch the crumbs instead of the window. I don't recall what I paid at Kohls, but it was worth it.
