These are pretty good but just be warned these things are pretty spicy. I'm from AZ as well and love spicy food / Mexican for reference.

I miss the shelled version with the red shells. I have no idea why they dyed the shells red other than to ensure they those eating them had a reasonably high level of commitment. There was no snacking on one or two. If you were going to eat some, you were going to eat a bunch. The clean up of your hands and mouth was about the same if you ate two or two dozen. And of course you never ate one as you were leaving, walking out the door to your car. Only to take a look in a mirror after about 30 minutes to see you have red lips from that one pistachio you ate before hopping in your car. Nothing like walking around in public with red lips from that lone pistachio. Red dye futures tanked when some pistachio marketing executive asked the question "why?"

Also like spicy foods and while these are not painful for me I would agree they actually have a little kick to them, which is nice.

Warning: This flavor isn't for everyone. They do have a kick to it, but they also taste sour.
In fact, there's a lot of 1 star review that describes how the sourless is too overpowering.

I agree, I couldn't finish the bag. They weren't too spicy, just sour and nasty.

They actually did it to hide imperfections. Funny how we used to be so weird about everything looking the same, now it's all organic and weird looking the better 😂

I literally just bought 2 packages of these at the grocery store because they were on sale for 4.99 from 5.99 and I've been looking for something healthier than chips. These are my favorite kind, but I do prefer the shelled spicy chili ones. I think the sourness comes from lime, and these do have a little kick but I like them. I don't like tahine or typical Mexican chili lime stuff, but this flavor is a winner for me. I'm not a fan of the bbq or honey ones of these (but I love honey cashews). I do like the lightly salted, but never tried the salt and vinegar. Needless to say I bought another one of these just now.

These are super intense in flavor but amazing and addicting. In fact, the fact that they're so intense in flavor is a benefit in that it keeps you in check because it stops you from eating too many at once.
