There is no second generation Pros. There's 3 generation AirPods (non-Pro), which the first two are the same in design but different in specs while the latest generation has the likeness of the Pros.

Not necessarily true. In 2021 they added Magsafe to the charging case. The 2019 version did not have this. That being said, I dont know the answer to OPs question.

As an aside how has Apple not released an update to the AirPods Pro yet? They're 3 years old and battery technology has gotten a LOT better since they were introduced. They need an update BADLY.

The adhesive AirTag cover is a terrible product.

Who sticks one of these to their iPad? The iPad comes with its own tracking.

And who sticks an AirTag to the outside of a suitcase. Why wouldn't you just drop it on the inside?

Did they even think it over - the marketing or the product itself?
