Disagree, you obviously don't know the difference in capabilities of desktop chrome vs non-desktop. It's capitalist market - more and more are being made because there is a market for it. I have it and it is awesome for my use case. OLED tablet, detachable…. I have no use for high end processor, I do not process videos or photos.
Desktop browsers are great in tablets. I really hate mobile browsers from anywhere.

I own one of these. It is amazing and the battery life lasts forever. Mostly use it for emails through PWA Outlook App. Works great! Bought a pencil to mess around with and I really am enjoying the experience. Highly recommend it if you don't play games. My macbook pro from 2017 is now a paperweight... the battery would die after 30 minutes and to replace it cost $200 for $162 dollars more this was worth it.

The Lenovo has better specs except for the screen. The OLED on this is hard to beat.

Netflix is 480p using the app but it's FHD via the browser( no download through the browser). Hulu seems like 720p via the app, Amazon Prime Video seems like FHD via the app.
One thing people need to realize is 1080p OLED panels are not better than quality 1080P LCD screens in every aspect. The screen door effect( looks like pixelation, noticeably less sharp than a 1080p LCD) on this Lenovo and the Samsung Galaxy Pro laptop is hard not to notice on light colored objects,

thx but i am aware of the pros and cons of these displays. i simply wanted to confirm that hevc and hdr can or cannot be played on chromeos these days. that way, even netflix does not work well, i can direct play my own collection in hdr/h265. a quick google search result does not seem promising. yikes.

I use this for marking up PDFs and web browsing. I like that it has a full browser and includes the keyboard. It fits a niche for me that is somewhere between a Surface and the iPad, at a good compromise cost. The screen is exceptional

I have the original duet. I wish this was 10" like before, that was a better travel size imo. And a bump in price should have brought a better process. But otherwise mine has been a pretty solid unit, I actually have four. One for each person in the family lol.

Also, do know this is technically not Netflix certified so you won't get 720p via the app.

If you have a Costco membership the Lenovo flex 5 there seems a better deal, isn't it? I3 processor and for only 299?
Depends on use, the Flex has better performance, but trashy display, trashy battery life, is heavier and non detachable.

If looking for increased portability, tablet use, and better screen, the duet is much better.

If priority is performance, flex is much better

Ooo right on. Maybe I will upgrade mine and see if that's worthwhile for the kids. The 10" duet has been pretty bullet proof for them. They toss, sit, and are not very nice to theirs and it's been indestructible so far. and great battery life, especially for longer flights.

Doesn't looks like much of an upgrade, bigger battery maybe, and newer processor. The processor isn't much better though. Theirs are also still working pretty well too. Although a little laggy when they play a few games, like roblox. But they don't understand quality graphics yet, haha.

I can appreciate that. It should come with a massive bumper case too, ha.
