I own one of these. It is amazing and the battery life lasts forever. Mostly use it for emails through PWA Outlook App. Works great! Bought a pencil to mess around with and I really am enjoying the experience. Highly recommend it if you don't play games. My macbook pro from 2017 is now a paperweight... the battery would die after 30 minutes and to replace it cost $200 for $162 dollars more this was worth it.
I bought this last time as an open box unit and I'm really happy with it. As a tablet it's just so-so. I really hate the way Chrome functions with the keyboard detached, BUT as a slim laptop this thing is awesome. I was initially planning on returning it within the 15 return window, but I've been using it so much I decided to keep it.
Currently typing this message on said device - open box during last deal. Great screen! A little heavy and cumbersome to use as a tablet simply due the sheer size and weight of it. Although I've found setting it up portrait along side where I'm sitting, and using a Bluetooth mouse to navigate makes for very enjoyable general surfing. Not sure why previous poster can't open Lenovo website - opened right up for me.

Doesn't looks like much of an upgrade, bigger battery maybe, and newer processor. The processor isn't much better though. Theirs are also still working pretty well too. Although a little laggy when they play a few games, like roblox. But they don't understand quality graphics yet, haha.
yeah its not an upgrade, its same specs as duet but built for kids and a lot cheaper

I can appreciate that. It should come with a massive bumper case too, ha.

I bought this last time on sale, camera stopped working already.
I power washed 3 times. According to Reddit, this is software problem.
There are many of us currently waiting for software update.
Do not buy this until the software patch gets available.

I really like duet 5 - great for media consumption, great using desktop web browser, great remote desktop machine to remote into work. if only it has a backlit keyboard . . .

No idea what everyone is talking about for in regards to a weak/slow processor. I've been using this multiple hours a day to do mostly web surfing and emails for the last few weeks since I got it on the last deal. I also have a Lenovo Legion 7 with a AMD 5800HX and RTX3080 and a 20 core i9 in my desktop with a 3080, so I know a little about the speed of a CPU.

For what it's designed for, which is light tasks, it is 100% fine. I don't notice much difference at all if I'm using Chrome on my Legion or Chome on the Duet. I honestly don't know what folks are trying to do with the Duet. Are you trying to train a neural network?

Also, while I'll admit it's a bit cumbersome to use as a tablet, that's how I use mine 90% of the time and I have very little problem. The only time I put the keyboard on is when I need to type a lot, like now as I'm using it to type this reply.

Curse you slickdeals. Of course I don't need it, but I pulled the trigger on an open box. This will replace my aging Dell XPS 13 2in1 that I was using as my travel laptop because I am tired of it always being dead from Windows connected standby every time I pull it out to use it. Plus I can use this as my device while lounging around and not have to pull out my reading glasses like I do with my phone.

I returned the OG Duet because it was just too small to justify the use case. 13.3 seems to be the mobility sweet spot for me as the XPS 13 2 in 1 has lasted me for a great 5 years.

I agree about the processor for most normal browsing and e-mail use cases. I survived on a i7-7Y75 for 5 years with no issues, so I should be fine with the snapdragon in my use cases.

I ordered an open-box for pickup a few weeks ago last time it went on sale. When I got there they didn't have the open box, I was given a new sealed one for the same price.

I don't use it as a tablet but as a laptop. Works great and I like the slim portability of it. Battery life is great.

How much was the open box deal for? Thanks
