OP please update description as you have ram listed as 8GBx2 but the model number, 83DH003TUS, states 16GB ram as 1 stick. Model number 83DH0042US is the one that is 8GBx2 -- at least according to specs listed on the Lenovo website. This might matter for some people who are looking to upgrade ram.

This is a gaming laptop supposed to be used indoors while plugged in to get most of of its power and performance. If you are planning to use it outside, get a slim laptop without dedicated graphics.

Lenovo gives discounts to first responders, teachers, students, military... etc. It does remove the coupon "buymorelenovo", but you end up saving a little bit more if you qualify. I got a price of $1,188.45 with my discount.

Yep. 250 nits is very borderline for inside, 300 is minimum, and anything above that is a bonus. 350 is more than good enough for indoors.

What wattage is the 4070? I'm assuming it's the lower wattage version to work in a slim format?
