This stuff is awesome sauce for removing adhesives, stickers, labels ECT. I use lighter fluid all the time to remove price tags and rental stickers from vintage collectables when restoring them. (Mostly vintage video game cartridges, boxes and manuals)
The nice thing about lighter fluid is that it will not stain/leave residue and dries quick. You are even able to remove stickers/price tags from paper manuals and cardboard boxes without damaging them if you are careful and patient.
I'm not sure of the long term effects about being exposed to lighter fluid on your skin/hands when cleaning and removing adhesives/stickers though. I would recommend wearing gloves and being in a well ventilated area when cleaning with it...

If you live near a King Soopers, you can get a 12 oz. bottle for only $3.50. That is where I get mine from. I have no idea why it is so much cheaper there.
Just in time.. was cleaning a set of old floor mats out of the junk yard.. they came back near mint other than a bit of gum stuck in one bottom corner.

doesn't anyone have a zippo? how long is the fluid supposed to last inside the lighter? it seems like mine evaporates unusually fast.
Simple solution, get a rubber case or an evaporation gasket for the bottom of it.
Most Zippos will have fuel evaporate in around 2-4 weeks. Thus the Zippo is a blessing and a curse. It was designed to withstand wind and weather conditions, which is does very well. It was also designed to be rugged and not prone to malfunction, again it does this really well. Zippos that are 40 years old will still work like new. However, they have one flaw and that is the open area at the bottom of the Zippo that lets small amounts of fuel leak out and evaporate over time, even if closed and in your pocket. A simple rubber gasket placed at the bottom will prevent this and make your fluid last a lot longer.
