- 5 minutes after placing the order, go to your order list and cancel the battery which you selected to be shipped to home (use Desktop browser not the mobile app).
- Pick up the tool from the store

Method 2:
- Add one of the above, select "Ship to Home" and add it to the cart
- Go to the following link, select "Store Pickup" and it to the cart:

I don't see those prices. In order to get the kit for $146, you need to buy a "free" battery for $62, which brings the total to $209

Edit. I just saw your comment and was not aware of that hack. Why tf do they even call it "free battery" when they are charging you 60+$? Lol

The logic is that the tool set is on sale for $209 and they give you a free battery if you pay $209 for the tool set. But in the cart, they divide the discount between the tool and the battery instead of $209 for the tool and 0$ for the battery.

The opposite. Fuel is technically brushless as well

That's what I thought, then I saw it says brushless on it

This is such a good deal. It gets you in the Milwaukee M18 brushless line for cheap. If I didn't already own Makita tools I would definitely jump on this deal.

Brushless < fuel
All Fuel are brushless, but not all Brushless are fuel.

They didn't have the kit in stock at my store, so I tried the 2nd method. I was able to go into my purchase history and cancel the battery immediately after placing the order though.. It appears that you don't necessarily have to call the store to cancel the in-store pickup order..

Yep I was stuck a while back. Was upgrading from my Ryobi tools and couldn't decide whether to go Ridgid, DeWalt, Milwaukee, or Makita... these HD "hack" deals started popping up and it was a no brainer. Every single one has absolutely been worth these prices and then some.

Save yourself the cancelling part by choosing pick up at a store that has very limited stock of the item you don't want. 99% of the time they'll cancel it for you after a few hours or over night. No guilt Big Grin

Is it worth waiting for a fuel combo hack to come up and spend a few extra dollars?

Seems like a pretty good deal for Milwaukee brushless.

I got the non-brushless a few months ago for ~$99, hacked, without the bit set. If I didn't, I would jump on this.
