After submitting the order you'll get another email: "One more step needed to complete your order."
With request to verify your account using your Photo ID. That is you are requested to submit your image and the image of your government issued photo ID.

DO NOT DO THAT. It's an oldest scam trick on Earth and a gateway to all possible scam operations with you identity including setting up fraudulent accounts or credit cards and many more. Such measure is rarely taken as an extreme precaution in certain cases.
Unless it's absolutely necessary and you trust the party requesting such a confirmation you should never ever upload a picture of you holding your photo ID.

Don't believe me? Just Google 'selfie scam' for example.

It looks like it converts to the regular playstation plus tier, not the top tier.

Are you sure?

"PlayStation Now customers will migrate over to PlayStation Plus Premium with no increase to their current subscription fees at launch."

IGN Twitter debunked it after posting earlier today, maybe they were wrong.

You're right. It does say that. But what happens to people who have both Plus and NOW? Don't know how that will convert.

Maybe I'm being dense, but why is everyone looking for the cards? Can't you just subscribe to it now with credit or debit card and still have it will over? Or is the price more for some reason if you get it directly?

Here's the actual wording from the Sony Blog post:

"When the new PlayStation Plus service launches, PlayStation Now will transition into the new PlayStation Plus offering and will no longer be available as a standalone service. PlayStation Now customers will migrate over to PlayStation Plus Premium with no increase to their current subscription fees at launch."

So the actual PS Now service is being included under the new PS Plus offering and current PS Now customers will be given PS Plus Premium access.

The option to buy PlayStation NOW from the PlayStation store is gone.

They will definitely get into the Premium tier but most likely lose out on the remaining Plus subscription unless it outlasts the NOW end date. Still time to have more explanation including what the official game list will be.

Thank you. That explains it then. I blame the Fireball. 😂 Good call.

You could still buy the 1 month but it will expire well before June which is why the cards are worth much more right now.

"We need ID verification for order..." - really? Well, I thought it might be possible only in the worst dumb scam ideas designed for total dummies. Alas, still alive and well.
"...capture your image and the image of your government issued photo ID..." - I highly discourage anyone to proceed.

Sorry to hear but thank you for the feedback. I checked reviews but guess it's hard to trust anyone these days...https://www.sitejabber.com/review...supply.com
