I bought the B50 a couple months ago at this price. I mostly used them in the gym with the included bluetooth cable. In less than 30 days the Bluetooth cable stopped working. I tried to just return them, but since they were defective I had to send them back to Westone (On my dime). I wanted to just get a refund, but was told no, and that it would be 5-6 weeks to send them back to me. And I had to send everything back when only the BT cable was defective.

Needless to say, I have a bit of a sour taste in my mouth after the ordeal. And when I found out they were defective I bought a pair of the Sony WF-1000xm4 (Planning to sell the B50s when I get them back). Its subjective, but I prefer the sound of the Sony's on top of the fact that they are so much easier to use.

You can use any MMCX cables, which can be had for much cheaper if going wired. Or you can look for other ones that are Bluetooth.

Having both Westone and Airpods, the Westone sounds a little better, but it doesn't make up for the need to use a cord. I use my Westones on my laptop, but I use my Airpods at the gym and driving.

+1 to this. You need high def music and a good DAC to truly tell the difference.

Also since these aren't colored in terms of music presentation, low fidelity tracks may sound worse than an iPod.

I can't get past the B50 plastered on each headphone. These are nice and I've always wanted to try them out but for some reason that does my head in and I've stuck with other brands. I really wish they had a blacked out version and I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Use some acetone and wipe the B50 Stamp off then? Simple solutions for simple problems 😀

I bought these at the $149 price. In all honesty, they sit in a drawer and I use wireless over the ear ANC phones (I have many but usually use either Sennheiser PXC550 ii or B & O h9i). I just prefer wireless and using Amazon Music I don't hear a difference with the Westones.
