For what it's worth the company is Japanese. Also it's a good deal as these go for $4-5 normally.

I ordered this Bigen hair dye because I've been using it for several years now and love it. But I noticed a couple years ago that there are some made in Indonesia rather than Japan and is a completely different formula, absolutely horrible! It stinks, it stains your skin for days, and the color is totally off. I ordered from Walgreens because the description said it was made in Japan and comes in a glass bottle (the Indonesia one comes in a plastic bottle) which is a lie. I will be returning. The original one made in Japan is an excellent product but do NOT use the one made in Indonesia!
