Bought a pair of these a few months ago from this seller, came in and acted like normal AirPods Pro and looked fine enough, until I compared next to a pair from the apple store. Very convincing fakes
I got refurb pros from this seller about a year ago. Have worked flawlessly since and looked brand new. I think the "beware of fakes" people are over exaggerating the likelihood of receiving something bad.
Just my personal experience, I owned the Sony noise cancelling buds for years, they were my go to at work (worked in a body shop with power tools and cutting metal) picked these up on Black Friday and I gotta say they're nice but the noice cancel and the sound as well as the battery was much better on the Sony ones. These do a pretty good job too though but I think it's just a case of being more expensive because of the logo you're getting
I have the gen 2 regular with wireless charging case and these pro ones and I like the regular gen 2s better. Battery life alone in the regular airpods are much better and also doesn't give you that stuffy feeling. I know people like things which have the word pro in them but i would rather buy a new gen 2 regular airpods over used/refurb pros. Vipoutlet seems to be Walmart liquidators so basically these are all customer returns. I would not buy any phone from them because most were purchased on installment plan and returned and may get blocked eventually due to non payment also unless balance is paid off phones can't be unlocked. Long story short of if you are ok with a lightly used product for a discount you should be good buying from this seller.
How did your previous pods die? I've gone through 2 pairs since Dec 2018, first gen base model just died three months ago and pros purchased in fall 2019 are still going strong
All 3 pair failed due to sweat (I think)...I sweat alot, but who doesn't during intense exercise...Apple did replace 1 pair with their warranty though
I never had issues with fake products from the vipoutlet previously. Ordered these.
Apple is showing they are eligible for Apple Care until March 2023. But, unfortunately, the firmware is 2-yrs old (3A283), and there's no obvious way to push the new one (I've tried).
However, neither noise cancellation nor transparency options are working. They act as cheap Chinese headphones. The case seems to be used (lightly scratched). The earbuds look new.
I guess there is no point in this lottery anymore.

I read once connected they update automatically. No way to push manually.
