I am waiting for 5400 series. Currently William Sonoma exclusive. Why Philips
Same here. When do you think it'll be sold at other retailers? Kinda tempted to buy it off amazon Germany for $650 but they charge $125 shipping and I'm not sure it'll work here.

Shoot, I just ordered from Seattle Coffee Gear for $679. Do they do price match to Philips? Is it a lot of hassle to save that $40? lol
It seems they don't do price matching post-purchase Frown And if returned they will deduct shipping fee and restocking fee.

I paid $636 2years ago and use it multiple times a day. Love the machine and the savings from not buying coffee elsewhere have made up for the cost of the machine.

Wish the 4300 lattego was on sale here since I like how the touchscreen tells you the oz when customizing along with the milk working alone.

Germany uses 230v outlets. Not compatable.

Yeah, I just saw someone else asked the same question. Might just go ahead and order from WS.

In regard to height...

Just measured my 4300 and it's just under 15 inches tall. I'm sure the 3200 is the same. But you'll want to consider room to fill the hopper. It holds almost a full 2 lbs though so pulling it out to refill shouldn't really be a frequent thing.

If you do decide to get it, the beans are everything and don't waste your time experimenting too much. Go straight to Lavazza Super Crema (blue bag) and save yourself the trouble and disappointment most people go through. I read that tip somewhere while I was waiting for mine to arrive off backorder and didn't heed the advice when it came. When I finally did try Super Crema, it was an amazing leap into bliss. I really should have listened.

You won't be disappointed unless you're doing mostly shots. Superautos are always a compromise of quality espresso with a lean towards ease and convivence. But you probably already know that. Smilie

Go for it. I love mine!. You probably won't get better than the 20% off. I got in on the deal 7/21 and I've never seen a lower price for a new machine.

The 3200 is 14.5 inches tall. We left 2.5 inches of clearance because we cut a hole on the shelf above it to fill the hopper with a funnel. Smilie You'd otherwise need an additional 6 inches or so.

Don't experiment?! Why limit yourself! You don't need coffee beans to say "Espresso" on the bag to use them. Anything medium roast or darker that isn't oily will do. Your local roasters might have some interesting options to try.

We are on the West Coast and our go to is Hairbender from Stumptown Coffee out of Portland, Oregon.

Been shopping for this for quite a while now. I'm happy I got to jump on this now that I'm done with all of my nespresso pods. Looking forward to some higher quality milk foam and expresso. The 10% cb really made it an easy purchase. I did a registration on Philips website and it appears they're offering some extended warranty for free. It gave me 60 month warranty. I bought this with a Costco card thinking I'd need the extended warranty, but the Philips extended warranty sort of counter acted that. I'm happy nonetheless.

I have one of these and it's amazing. I don't even care what I spent on it. I think I got it for $599 from Williams Sonoma with their credit card and got back like $120 in gift cards. Got the big Instapot all for about $640 after tax

Can anyone provide a review/comparison to the resulting espresso of this machine vs Breville products such as the Barista Espress or the more expensive Barista Touch?

https://www.breville.com/us/en/pr...80BSS1BUS1
Breville makes a more traditional espresso drink: finer grounds, higher pressure; but it's not fully automatic and requires more manual input.

I have the Philips currently. This is fully automatic which means other than dialing in your settings the first few times it requires no input from you and makes decent facsimile of an espresso but with courser grinds and lower pressure. he latte go makes surprisingly good frothed milk, better than most other higher priced fully automatic machines with finer foam and better milk temperature.

Yes, a superior cup of joe in every way. I can't imagine going back to a drip maker, and I've never had good coffee from a Keurig. Plus, no more plastic waste.
