You have a moth or two until covid comes back
They are dropping the mask mandate for flying on April 18th but I would not fly without a mask

I've been debating stocking up on N95s just to anticipate the next wave, as you know there will be that last one. I hope not though as I just want to learn my lessons and move on

A couple of weeks ago, I was at CVS they had an announcement that they still had the free masks to giveaway, 3 per person. When I asked they cashier, they just have me a whole pack of like 20. They said no one was taking them. I told a friend, and they tried at a different CVS, same result. So ask around different stores. There are probably still free ones to be had.

Same experience at a Walgreens, guy gave me 7. What kind did you get? Mine were the budget Honeywells (not complaining for free masks)

These are good took a chance last time, placed an order last time, they seal well, I have a big ass head I wear a cowboy hat xl and these fit well band didn't break and didn't feel tight

I didn't catch COVID for 3 years and I finally caught it on Tuesday March 29th. My body temperature was super hot. I tested myself with the free kit and was positive. I have 2 doses and a booster too but my booster was long time ago and all shots wear off over time. I am in isolation now. I stopped wearing the mask when the mask mandate was lifted. False sense of security. I am going back to wearing the mask outside the home once my isolation is over and I am negative on my next test. The inconvenience of wearing the mask is minor compared to the risk to yourself in catching COVID but also from you spreading the COVID to others who could be in more danger from COVID like older people or people with lower immunity.

*This is the type of n95 niosh approved mask that I am currently using around the house. I am infected and I haven't infected others so that is a good sign. The mask is effective and pretty comfortable. I definitely wouldn't trust a cloth mask.

I stocked up when the vaccines came out and the government thought it was over. I still have a bunch of good ones that cost me $0.25 each. China is experiencing major lockdowns right now because a new variant is blowing past their old vaccines. As long as COVID has a giant reservoir in which to mutate (humans, animals) this is going to keep happening. Or BA.2 may be the last big wave. Who knows. I'm going to keep masking until community spread stops, which has not happened yet despite hopeful governments. I would rather have masks and not need them than need them and not have them.
