You can use a flathead screwdriver to remove weed, could probably use a kitchen knife to do it too. This hand weeder will make it easier tho

mmm, I dunno about this one.
This one has an attachment which will be a weak point.
I use the fiskars garden knife, which is the handle plus a single piece of metal.

I thought you were talking about the Fiskars product in this post, glad I checked the link. Seems to be a bit cheaper on Walmart (65 instead of 75)

Definitely a better price. I'm surprised by the 1 star review on Walmart where the guy said he broke it. Must have either been in some ground full of rocks or roots or trying to use it in frozen earth. It's strong, but still only a few inches wide.
