Been using high mileage oil since they came out with this formula, did my research and NEVER heard about it causing wear. As others have said it contains additional additives like for seal conditioning.

Yup, I believe over here you can leave used engine oil in an engine oil container by your trashcan on trash day, and they'll take it. Maybe there's certain trash days designated for that, idk. I normally just take my used oil to an auto parts store
