"Build your own Viking Legend. Become Eivor, a Viking raider raised to be a fearless warrior, and lead your clan from icy desolation in Norway to a new home amid the lush farmlands of ninth-century England. Find your settlement and conquer this hostile land by any means to earn a place in Valhalla. England in the age of the Vikings is a fractured nation of petty lords and warring kingdoms."

To each their own. I've played all the assassin's Creed games and while I agree that Odyssey is better, it's not much better, both games are excellent. At this price it's definitely worth getting.

Mass effect legendary edition is so well done. Only ever played the second one a looong time ago. But now I'm halfway through the third one and I can say they're all phenomenal, though the first one's controls left a little to desire.
Is this the lowest Tales of Arise has been? I haven't played a Tales game all the way through since Symphonia on the GameCube, but I heard good things about this one. Don't know if that's really the case though

I believe it might be, at least from a "known" retailer. I picked it up a while back for $30 as I recall and that was the lowest price by $10-$15 at the time.
After buying the standard edition of Odyssey and never seeing the Season Pass go cheaper than $20, I decided to hold out for the Gold edition which includes the pass and goes on more regular sales for cheaper.

Couldn't get into the other games... but took a chance on Arise and it's kept my attention. Close to finishing the game. Some of the levels are a little repetitive but I like the battle system (kind of a turn-based/fast action mashup) and it reminds me of older RPGs in a modern, less tedious way.

Valhalla[screenrant.com] is actually an amazing game. Sure, it starts off in dark and dreary Norway, but not for long. Have you even tried it or are you just going by who the development team was? I liked it so much that I purchased DLC's Wrath of the Druids, The Siege of Paris and Dawn of Ragnarok. I'm actually bummed that I am almost done with it all. I have Odyssey and Origins to play next. I think I am looking forward to playing Odyssey more. I'm looking forward to Infinity, but that won't be out for awhile.

It was $9 from VIP Outlet when I bought it. Now $14. Hopefully my order goes through.
Valhalla is great. It's the best one since Black Flag.
