-As expected for an IPS monitor, the Gigabyte M32U has mediocre contrast, so blacks look gray in a dark room.
-Unfortunately, although the Gigabyte M32U has a local dimming feature, it's terrible. In most content, it doesn't appear to do anything. It's edge-lit, with approximately 16 dimming zones, so even when the local dimming is working, because each zone is so large, transitions are very noticeable and distracting.
-Although the Gigabyte M32U supports HDMI 2.1, like most of the other HDMI 2.1 monitors we've tested, it's limited to 24Gbps. The HDMI 2.1 inputs on the Samsung Odyssey G7 S28AG70 support more bandwidth than those on the Gigabyte, as they can support up to 40Gbps while the Gigabyte is 24 Gbps. This means that you don't need Display Stream Compression for 4k gaming at 120 fps from certain sources on the Samsung, like from the Xbox Series X.
It is a good 4K monitor for gaming if you have the power to drive it. I have a 3080 ti and it runs at 4K at pretty high frame rates.
But the best thing is, it is a great productivity monitor too. I use it for work with spreadsheets and code. 4K resolution is a lot of screen pixels and at 32" you can use 100% scaling on some things and have it readable. The KVM USB switch makes it easy to switch between computers. I have my laptop plugged in via USB-C and desktop computer via displayport. The KVM USB hub switch is a bit buggy so its good to use but can have issues with some usb devices.
It works good for me as I use it for everything from work to gaming. It's not the best at either but it's very good in doing both.

They are as easy as Amazon I recently had to return 2 things well 1 return and an exchange oh and a refund and it was easy no hassle just make sure you read the return policy date and you'll be fine. I'm tempted I need a 4k 144hz monitor just don't know which one yet.
Same price for pick up as well!

Fortunately the monitor from Amazon has given me no such problems in over a month of use, although the colour accuracy might not be as good as the first monitor I received. I have had no trouble using it with my PC and PS5 although you might not be as happy with the colours/ brightness as you would with a dedicated TV. However it works well enough for what I need it for and I'm happy to keep using it for its intended purpose. I have never used and do not intend to use the attached speakers.
In short, I would purchase this monitor at this great price (I paid $750) as long as you're comfortable with going through the return process in case you receive a dud.
I dont have the power to drive 4k while gaming (5700xt) but I also had no idea that these were priced so high.
I paid $299 for my LG 650F (32" 1440p/144hz) monitor - roughly 1/2 of what this is going for.

Double the resolution, double the price?
