Nothing lasts forever, trends and things come and go. It's always been this way. I do agree with you 100% though. Showing skin because your pants are too short or socks not long enough is a terrible look.

If you like pleats, then jump on this. If you don't know what pleats are but can't seem to figure out why you look like a used car salesman whenever you dress up for work while other people look cool and svelte, it's because you're wearing pleats and a classic-fit dress shirt.

What's wrong with pleats? I'm going to be going to work twice a week now and just need something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Go to Ross, JC Penney, Marshall's, or any department store and check out their clearance rack. There's plenty of flat front slacks on sale for less than $20!

The people knocking pleats sound like they're still in Jr high and only wear name brand clothes. I recently saw one of my old Jr high classmates that did that. I went up to him and looked him square in the eyes and said, "$25 on pump 3 please". The name brand he was wearing this time was "7-11".

Fine. You can wear pleated pants, brown plaid suit jackets, wide ties, and enjoy it.

As someone said, you can go to Marshals, TJ Max, etc etc etc and get the same pants, flat front for the same price. Would you rather have wood panel or drywall assuming same price? Like it or not, dress pants are not for lounging in your house. Why not look your best? Why settle for the cheapest clothes and be lazy to look elsewhere? People see a "deal" and try to justify buying. It's not a modern or clean look. Pleats make you look old and larger than you are. If YOU actually like the look, then go for it, but again, if two pairs of pants are in front of you, same price, go for flat front

Nice deal. I'm out on pleats, but there are other pants that qualify for the 40% plus 15% that have flat fronts. The cool 18 (without pleats) are all i wear to work. I love them. Also, 8% CB on a site, and my mastercard has 5% back on clothing right now, so even better.
