most phones have stabilization these days. I don't know if these are necessary anymore.

So it's a frame that holds other adaptors like an extra flash or light or mic? But it's kind of a stretch or even misleading for it to call itself a 'stabilizer' rig. There is no gyroscope of any kind built in for stabilization.

I don't think the term "stabilize" implies any type of active device. Tent poles are stabilized by ropes, no gyroscope involved.

While the discount is nice for this product, the item itself is not worth it. If you need a mount to place on a stationary tripod with the mic and light on them, then sure this would be nice. But, overall, it's not good to move it around and shoot action videos.
