by the way above post is my second post in slickdeals, Funny my very first post was about Samsung 75 TV as well. You can check here. That TV got pannel issues and after looking for a cheap one, found this one.

Well, of course, this is not good as high-end TVs. I used to have a 75" Samsung QN75Q7FN 2018 model, and I was happy with it. So this is similar quality. I didn't want to pay a lot of money. Actually, Amazon reviews are good besides some who got broken TV after delivery. I did went to best buy and compared with OLEDs or Samsung 8k, definitely, this doesn't look that good. But if you just look to by itself. It's really good. Yeah this one doesn't have local dimming, but again, even a good one which local dimming still has blooming issue. For me this doesn't distracting me while watching. Check the rtings review as well.

Went to Bestbuy a few months back and the rep told me Samsung Tvs are the most returned units at their store. This is still a low end model and the picture is extremely dull in my opinion. You can compare it side by side with other models in store and you can easily tell the image is not as sharp as other brands. We ended up buying a samsung tv for a smaller tv room we have and it disconnects from wifi every other day, it's a pain. I won't touch another samsung tv, which is a shame because they used to be so good.

This TV went on similar sales at Amazon and Costco a few months ago. For $1700 or $1800 I'd go Sony or save up for OLED. For around $1000 it's a great TV.

I don't buy from bestbuy, but when they're the only local store where you can physically see a product you're going to be literally looking at for hours on end....Ya I go in to evaluate my options. Not to mention return rate has nothing to do with tech advice. I ask about return rates with any expensive product like tvs, appliances etc. It says a lot about a brand. Unlike you, I do research on my purchases before dropping 1k on a trash tv ordering online.

Dropping 1K on a TV.. If you have to think twice before dropping a mere 1K on TV, you should be saving enough to put gas in a car...

take this with a giant grain of salt, since samsung TVs are the highest velocity skus by brand in best buy.
In lamen terms, if you sell a 100 samsung tvs and your retrun rate is 10% you will see 10 tvs returned a month, if you sell 10 toshiba TVs a month and your return rate is 10% you will only see one 1 returned per month.

One brand looks like its generating more returns but in reality they are achiveing the same return rates.

The guy working in returns has no idea what the guy in sales is pushing out, so there is no valuable information to be had from the reps statement.
