About 4 years ago $10 for a 3 pack was a slick deal. For over the past year $9 for a single is a trending price drop.
There is always the feedback of possible knock offs being mixed in with Amazon inventory. This can be verified by scanning the product.
According to 3C the last time this product was below $9 was April of 2018

This is a good product. Been using it for a while now. Like that it holds good but also still washes out easily with shampoo - no residue.
