just a heads up for everybody who orders these as it comes up every time.

many people complain saying these must be expired because they smell literally "like garbage". that is because they use Ethyl Alcohol, not Isopropyl Alcohol ("rubbing alcohol") that most people are familiar with.

Ethyl alcohol is derived from plants (almost always from corn) so it can sometimes smell like fermented organic compounds, similar to the smell some people associate with "garbage".

It's not too bad and obviously won't affect performance as that smell is literally just the active ingredient... but if you take a big whiff expecting that "sharp stingy" smell of rubbing alcohol, you won't get that.

So I just found that these are awesome for home projects! If I drip any paint somewhere accidentally these clean it right up, I also like to get the wipe a little damp and use it to clean up caulking edges and smooth them out. They clean up tools well too!

Dang these keep getting cheaper. Just make sure you seal them all the way when you close it otherwise they will dry out quickly (due to alcohol).

they're probably aproaching the use by date quickly. the ones i bought a few months ago say they "expire" in about 2 months from now. does alcohol expire?

I have been used to this kind of alcohol wipes, so handy, My Lysol wipes became second choice.

they stay pretty moist, but i'm just afraid that the alcohol has dried up and its just water wipes and i dont realize that its water wipes

I still have 58 packs from the last sale. My local church is also giving these out at masses. I guess they have to much extra that is expiring soon and the pandemic is coming to an end.

I use them to wipe kitchen counter, stovetop and all around the apt.
