The real answer here is that they send someone to pick it up and it usually gets donated to a local shelter

I was thinking about buying it in-store, taking it home, then trying it out. If I don't like it, I doubt Costco is going to pick it up if I go that route.
So I guess to be safe, my only option is delivery, but then I have to wait longer for it to be delivered.
I have never bought a bed-in-a-box, so not sure how I will like these types of mattresses. I just want to make sure I can easily return it if necessary.

I'd think it's the same but I've only had one delivered, they just had someone they contracted to come pick it up and either discard it (if there was an issue) or donate (if it just wasn't liked).

Returns are pretty easy. I left the mattress at front door.
They asked whats wrong with it, took couple of pictures and picked it up
